This one-day adventure begins in the lakeside town of Virpazar, where you set off on a thrilling and scenic loop through the mountains that separate Lake Skadar from the Adriatic coast. The climb to the mountain pass is steady and rewarding, and from the top the landscape opens — the sea glimmers in the distance, and the air carries a hint of salt.

The return route brings a true highlight: a ride through the abandoned Tudjemili railway tunnel; two kilometres of pure darkness and echoing mystery. This is an experience for brave explorers only. Emerging back into daylight, the rest of the journey flows downhill all the way back to sea level. The day ends in the most fitting way — with a gentle spin through Virpazar’s surrounding vineyards and a wine tasting at a local family estate. A glass of homemade Vranac and a few bites of regional delicacies make for a perfect finish to this unforgettable ride.
